Our RV park is located at the junction of Highway 24 and County Road 46, making it easy to head east toward Woodland Park and Colorado Springs, west toward Lake George and Eleven Mile, or south toward Cripple Creek. Guests can explore the entire region with minimal backtracking.

3. Do I need to travel far for food, fuel, or supplies?

No. Florissant’s restaurants, groceries, hardware store, and fuel stations are only ½ mile from the RV park, so you can pick up supplies or grab a meal without interrupting your plans for the day.

Teller County offers hiking, fishing, wildlife viewing, scenic drives, OHV/ATV networks, photography, historical tours, birding, and lake recreation. Florissant is one of the rare towns that sits within a short drive of nearly every type of mountain activity.

7. Is Mountain Gateway RV Park suitable for large RVs doing sightseeing?

Yes. Being directly on Highway 24 makes arrival and departure simple for larger motorhomes and fifth wheels. There are no tight switchbacks or steep gravel roads that are common with other mountain RV parks.
